    Attention 6 & under Parents!

    Parents!

We are so happy that your six and under swimmers are going to be a part of the FCC swim team this year! As you know, we will be part of the Rappahannock Swim League (RSL). The league has certain guidelines that we are required to follow. In order for your swimmer to compete in a meet, they need to be able to “swim” the length of the pool. This means they need to get from one side to the other either by doggy paddle, bobbing up and down the water without touching the bottom, or by traditionally kicking and using their arms. In order to practice with our team every day, each swimmer will need to at minimum “swim” half of the length of the pool at the beginning of the season. If your child cannot swim at all, please sign up for swim lessons first, or private lessons with one of the coaches. Once they are able to accomplish these milestones, we will transition them over to regular swim team practice!

If you have any questions, please text or call me.

I’m excited to be working with your children this year!

    See you all soon!
