Hello Team!

We have our first swim meet this Wednesday @ FCC against Idlewild. 

Swimmers, please arrive at 4:45pm sharp to FCC Wednesday evening! Our team warmups will begin at 5pm- do not be late! 

**Parent volunteers**- Please arrive no later than 5pm and listen for your volunteer meeting to be called on deck. 

Our home team seating area will be over by the waterslide underneath the covered deck by the restrooms. Please leave the baby pool side of the deck for our visiting team! 

Swim Meet Reminders: 

1. Bring a sharpie- this is helpful to write swimmers events on their hand so they know when they are racing and it won't wash off! (ex. #17 Free, #39 Back, #49 Breast) Swimmers will receive their individual events and relays tomorrow morning (Tues.14th) at practice as well as Wednesday morning as a reminder. 

2. Pack your own chair- There will be many swimmers and spectators on deck so bring your own chair so swimmers/parents will have a place to sit. 

3. Swimmers need to stay hydrated- Please bring lots of water and small snacks for swimmers to refuel between races. (The snack bar will be open as well) 

4.Don't forget a towel and goggles! 

5. Be on time to the meet and for your events- The clerk of course is a meeting location for parent volunteers to organize swimmers before their races. Please listen for your event # to be called then swimmers please report to the clerk of course near the slide! (There will also be a white board with the event #'s that are being called up in numerical order- refer to the whiteboard by the slide) 

6. Cheer on your teammates- We are looking to be loud on deck! Let's show some team spirit. 

7. Please wear your team suit/swim cap- If you ordered a team suit please wear it for the meet! If you do not have a team swim suit please try to wear a black/red suit. Swim caps will be given out on Wednesday at the meet for swimmers to wear when racing. Please wear any old Buccaneer gear if you have any! (Team T-shirts coming soon)
