Hello swim team families,

So happy for our swimmers and their incredible win over Chancellor!  Attached is the final Meet Results sheet for your viewing pleasure :)  The final score was 171-131.

For your awareness - Triple Winners are a HUGE deal.  The RSL allows a swimmer to be entered into no more than 3 individual events and 3 relays.  It's a BIG deal if a swimmer finishes first in an event (not just their heat, but in their entire event)!  If a swimmers finishes first in ALL three of their individual events, that's a HUGE deal.  It's called a Triple Winner!

After our first meet, we had three triple winners - Nick Clarkson, Luca Salafia, and Linnea Rouse.  After our second meet, we had four triple winners - Nick Clarkson, Liam Long, Emry Brewer, and Maddy Pulliam.  If you see these swimmers, be sure to give them a well earned CONGRATS!  I will try to send out the official meet results and triple winner list after each meet. 

Our next meet is AWAY (thank goodness!) at Grafton.  Please RSVP your swimmers attendance as soon as possible.  Seriously - like now.  There are hours of work required to properly enter and seed every swimmer in every event.  The earlier you inform the coaches of your swimmers availability, the sooner they can get to work.  

The fourth meet is AWAY at Idlewild.  This is the week of July 4th.  We expect that families may be on vacation or traveling - it's so incredibly important to RSVP to this meet NOW.  As expected across the RSL, attendance will be lower than normal.  That's fine.  Just need to know who is going to swim and who is not.  Many of our wins will be based on attendance.

I am going to open up Parent Jobs this evening.  There are far fewer jobs required to fill at away meets than home meets.  If you are behind in fulfilling your volunteer jobs, please sign up.  

Finally, there will be NO PRACTICES on Monday, July 4th and Tuesday, July 5th.  We will have practice the morning of Wednesday, July 6th and an AWAY meet at Idlewild the evening of Wednesday, July 6th.

The weather for tomorrow morning isn't looking great.  Please check your email/text messages (sign up for REMIND, if you haven't) by 8:30am for the older kids and 9:30am for the younger kids.  No word means practice is a go.
