Swim Meet Results 6/7/23
Swim Team Family,
What a great first meet! I was so happy to see our swimmers stepping up, swimming their events, cheering on their teammates, and doing their best :)
Coach Luke will have a lot of information to go over with the team tomorrow and Friday, before our next meet on MONDAY! Make sure to come to practice on Thursday and Friday. He will also have ribbons to hand out to the swimmers.

I attached two reports. One is the Meet Results. It shows every event and the place each swimmer earned. If the swimmer was DQ'ed, it will show "DQ" and state the reason. Don't worry - the coaches will go over the DQ's with the swimmers and explain how they can correct their stroke.
The second report is the High Score Report. It shows how many points a swimmer earned at the meet. I'd like to make a note regarding those swimmers that earned the title of Triple Winner (15 points in one swim meet). A swimmer that places first in all three of their individual events (not relays) is considered a Triple Winner. This is a HUGE accomplishment. Please join me in congratulating Nick Clarkson, Marco Salafia, and Joel Wadkins.
Meets: Next Week - Volunteer Jobs
We have our first home meet on Monday, June 12th and our second home meet on Thursday, June 15th. I am opening up the volunteer slots this evening. Please go and sign up for a job. There are more jobs required at home meets than away meets. It really does take a huge group effort to run an efficient, timely, and smooth meet. If you have any specific questions about the jobs, please feel free to reach out to Alison Harper or myself.
See you tomorrow,
Kim
