    Coach's Highlight & Evening Practice Notes

    FCC Swim Families,

    We wanted to add a new post-meet component to celebrate our awesome swimmers with some meet highlights:

    Coaches Highlights-

    • Team cheering on the sidelines at the beginning of the meet! Keep it up.
    • 32 top Finishes!!! 
    • Heidi Scharf - first time and only 6 and under girl in the 25 Fly.
    • Brothers and first time swimmers - Luke and Mark Wright - winning the Free (Luke) and the Back ( Mark ).
    • Rhett Schultz - winning both his individual races by 7 seconds in the free and 30 seconds in the back! 
    • Khloe Rehbein- 100 IM was impressive and she is our triple winner! 🎉
    • Boys 15-18 Relay - Braeden B., Dylan P, Joel W, and Tyler P. - out touching CHST by .5 for the win!
    • All our 5-6 year olds who overcame their fears and did the 25 back!
    • And all of our FIRST TIME BUCCANEERS who came out and swam in their first meet last night! 

    That was fun to watch! 🤩

    Upcoming practice schedule recap:

    -Evening practice tonight (Thursday) from 6-7pm. Ribbons will be distributed to any swimmers who earned one in last night's meet.

    -Combined morning practice for all age groups tomorrow morning (Friday) from 10-11am.

    -NO evening practice tomorrow (Friday).

    ** Important practice information for both morning and evening sessions**

    The Fredericksburg Country Club pool does not open for regular operation until 11. :00 a.m. after morning practices are complete. Please keep in mind that during this time the lifeguarding staff is only on duty to prepare the pool facilities and monitor registered team members participating in practices. All other areas of the pool are still closed until 11:00. A.m.. 

    Likewise, Monday evening during the 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Practice, the pool is also closed. Only registered swimmers who are participating in Coach LED practices are permitted in the pool during that time. 

    Thank you for helping ensure that swimmers can be safely monitored by guard staff and all other patrons are able to be safe on deck.
